The High Sierra Gas fireplace is custom made by MalM in California to order for you with several options, choose your color, style and size. Available in natural gas or propane. - They come in Natural Gas, if you would like liquid propane that is not a problem just let us know. you will have email and phone numbers for Smokey Mountain Fireplaces. 

The Gas High Sierras 34" is a sleek, fluid modern design that effectively shows off the blaze within. The burner does not require electricity; if your power fails, the flame will keep burning and heating your home. Available in all the standard Malm colors, the Gas High Sierras 34" can provide a cozy atmosphere to any home. Here is the 34"

The 30" uses a 7", The 34" uses a 8", the 38" uses a 9" flue pipe (includes adaptor to 10" pipe)

Located in Sonoma County, California, Malm started as a sheet metal manufacturer in the 1950s, and some of the original employees dabbled in making fireplaces on the weekends. From weekend hobby to full-fledged business, Malm was one of the original manufacturers of freestanding fireplaces and is the only one still in existence today. Since the mid-20th century these fireplaces have been used in iconic modern spaces worldwide.

The advantage of a freestanding fireplace is that it heats up and radiates more efficiently. And unlike traditional wood-burning stoves, the Zircon gives you a clear view of the fire from a variety of angles.

Woodburning units are available in three sizes: 30 inch, 34 inch, and 38 inch. Gas units are only available in the 34 inch size.

Wood burning units are available in colored porcelain or matte black, with a matte black base. All other units are available in powder coat colors or matte black, with the standard matte black base or optional matching colored powder coated base.

Powder coating is not available on wood-burning models.

This appliance has been tested in accordance with National Safety Standards and has been certified by Lab Test for installation and operation as described in this manual. Please read all the instructions before beginning your installation. Check with your local building code agency to ensure compliance with local codes. In the absence of local codes the installation must comply with National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z22.3.1. In Canada, current CAN/CGA-B149.1 and B149.2 installation codes.

GAS SUPPLY For use with natural gas or propane gas, depending on which option you have ordered. The minimum inlet gas supply pressure for the purpose of input adjustment: Natural = Minimum 5.5" Water Column (1.4 kPa) Maximum 10.5" Water Column (2.6 kPa) Propane = Minimum 11" Water Column (2.75 kPa) Maximum 13" Water Column (3.25 kPa)

 What is a B Vent Gas Unit? - B-vent gas fireplaces draw interior air from the area around your fireplace to help fuel combustion inside the appliance.
