The Stûv 16’s mobile smoke deflector opens with the door to let smoke out, preventing it from entering the room. When closed, it traps smoke to burn gases a second time, boosting efficiency.
The Stûv 16 heats your room quietly using natural convection. Heat flows through a gap between the firebox and the stove’s body—no noisy fan needed.
The Stûv 16 door has a safety spring that keeps it partly closed when released. This helps light the fire by boosting the flames and stops sparks from falling out.
The Stûv 16 has a special vent that connects to outside air, letting the fire use fresh oxygen from outdoors for a stronger, cleaner burn.
