The Gas High Sierras 34" is a sleek, fluid modern design that effectively shows off the blaze within. The burner does not require electricity; if your power fails, the flame will keep burning and heating your home. Available in all the standard Malm colors, the Gas High Sierras 34" can provide a cozy atmosphere to any home. Here is the 34"
Additional venting required but not included; 2 - 3” Flex from unit height of 34 1/2” to Ceiling Support Box. Ceiling Support Box is Included. 4” x 6" DuraVent DirectVent Pro required from support box through roof to a height specified by DuraVent DirectVent Pro instructions. SUPPORT BOX WITH 46DVA-GK Converts the two 3 inch flex to the Duravent DirectVent Pro 4 x 6-5/8 inch vent the support box that is included is 18" by 18"

The 30" uses a 7", The 34" uses a 8", the 38" uses a 9" flue pipe (includes adaptor to 10" pipe)
Some metallic or textured might have an additional cost. Powder coat is for gas units only. Powder Coat Allows A LOT of Color Options so you can get the POP YOU WANT out of your living room. List of powder coat options here.

The direct vent Malm unit has a sealed combustion firebox. There are two 3” flex pipe that run up the inside of the malm 8” pipe. If you go to our website and click on the PDF there are 2 manuals. 1 for the malm unit and 1 for the Regency gas insert used. We show it on our page 11 and page 12 on the Regency manual. That will show you how and why the 3” flex is used. If you look on our manual page 4 will show you the support box and how the two 3” flex gets connected. From the box up we use direct vent pipe.

Modern in design, the Zircon Cone Fireplace by Malm radiates warmth and cheer into any room.
Located in Sonoma County, California, Malm started as a sheet metal manufacturer in the 1950s, and some of the original employees dabbled in making fireplaces on the weekends. From weekend hobby to full-fledged business, Malm was one of the original manufacturers of freestanding fireplaces and is the only one still in existence today. Since the mid-20th century these fireplaces have been used in iconic modern spaces worldwide.
The advantage of a freestanding fireplace is that it heats up and radiates more efficiently. And unlike traditional wood-burning stoves, the Zircon gives you a clear view of the fire from a variety of angles.
Woodburning units are available in three sizes: 30 inch, 34 inch, and 38 inch. Gas units are only available in the 34 inch size.

Direct vent uses outside air to fuel the fire - the the Direct vent is a completely enclosed unit with air titght glass and two 3" air hoses inside the 8" flue pipe.

Wood burning units are available in colored porcelain or matte black, with a matte black base. All other units are available in powder coat colors or matte black, with the standard matte black base or optional matching colored powder coated base.
To select one of the additional available powder coat colors, please view the swatch link below, select a random powder coat option, and then note the RAL number of the color you would actually like in the comments box when placing your order. Powder coating is not available on wood-burning models.

This appliance has been tested in accordance with National Safety Standards and has been certified by Lab Test for installation and operation as described in this manual. Please read all the instructions before beginning your installation. Check with your local building code agency to ensure compliance with local codes. In the absence of local codes the installation must comply with National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z22.3.1. In Canada, current CAN/CGA-B149.1 and B149.2 installation codes.
